BARBARA BERNSTEIN
Barbara Bernstein has been a partner
at Kinexis since the firm was founded in 1987.
She is the mastermind of The
New Deal Art Registry, a Flex-based mashup that is using a crowd-sourcing
model to compile a geographic guide to surviving public art created
under the New Deal programs of the 1930s. She also runs Movies-seivoM,
a web site that discusses self-referential movies.
Barbara Bernstein was Director of Technical Docu
mentation at ePropose and TreasuryX. She co-wrote with John Tibbetts
the popular "Developments" column that ran in Information
Week magazine in the late 1990s.
She was educated at The University of Chicago.
She began her career as a copywriter/producer at the advertising
agencies J. Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett Company, and worked
at 20th Century-Fox in Paris.
